This starting over experience is the result of knitting the Adamas shawl last night while very tired and a little worse for wear. A lifeline would have been nice, don't you think? And do you see one in the last photo? No. Of course not, because I'm stubborn. I like to think I can do better this time and manage without one. Also, there's no obvious row to put one in because there are no plain knit rows.
I shall persist. It's really not a hard pattern; I should just know my own limits in concentration. Today has been spent largely on the couch with tea and Season 6 of Buffy. It's good for the soul.
